Born in Lebanon in 1985, Mazen Khaddaj paints and sculpts since childhood. His work amusingly reminds us of stained glass, through colorful compositions and fragmented shapes. Every part of the works is filled with color and the mosaic-like backgrounds seem to fusion with the human figures by the means of his black contour lines. His work is flat and Khaddaj doesn’t shadow on purpose, he intends that his shapes be clearly cut and his forms stay graphic.
